LEGO 75398 C-3po

Good fun building kept me going and finished within the day.

I’ve gotten into building Lego sets a few years ago after losing my mom. And just got hooked on the Star Wars set and I already have R2-D2 so I wanted to get this one to complete my collection. They are so cool!

I love the attention to detail on this build. Thought has been given to the correct stance. A good sized build too.

My grandma took my two brothers and me to see Star Wars on Christmas Day, 1977. I was 13 years old. The path of my life was forever changed when that John Williams score erupted, and the exposition crawl painted the story. C3-PO and R2-D2 are the first characters we meet in the Star Wars universe. Somehow, Lucas can’t write great dialogue for the human characters, but the droids are awesome. This kit is just the right size. It’ll fit nicely on the bookshelf or mantle, and has detail enough to really evoke the character. I have the R2 set as well, and I can hear them bickering and C3-PO whacking R2 in his supercilious way.

The instructions for the Old Man are not clear enough in some areas and some of the pieces really could use a little design help for easier assembly I have been building a lot of puzzles and thought since I buy these sets for the Grand Children and some of our friends children it might be fun to do these vs puzzles and for the most part it was fun but I did have some building issues due to not understanding the detailed instructions Over all it is very cool and I will the two extras were designed to attach
