LEGO Ninjago 70641 Ninja Nachtracer

A challenge but doable, my 14 yr.old grandson loved it.

We have bought many lego sets over the years but this one is not recommended IMHO. The finished construction is very unstable, the top assembly rests on very small support base and often breaks apart, resulting in much frustration.. This is unlike the many other sets we have already bought and assembled. The design is not good. The set is very complex to assemble, bought for a 7 year old, in retrospect the package says 9 year old and above. Needs adult help for sure. Finished product looks very nice, but again often breaks apart and is inherently, by design, unstable. Kid can't play with it much without it breaking aparat. Again this is not our first set. I would choose another set.

Gave this to my grandson for his 10th birthday. He loved it and had it put together in no time.

Got it for a 5 yr old's birthday. He went bananas when he opened it. A little advanced for him. Of course, being a good dad, I had to help him with the build. It was a lot of fun to assemble and he has a blast playing with it, even 6 months later.

My grandson and brother were thrilled to get this for his 8th birthday and his brother was very willing to help him play with it. Very great gift for grandkids.
