I used to own the original B-Wing (7180) when I was younger. I bit the brick and purchased this most recent rendition that was made in 2014 for about $90 as of 3/14/17. Building this awesome ship brought back so many fun memories! However, there was one defect. On the largest wing, there is a 2x4 stud slanted piece that sits behind some sort of vent that's completely backwards! Because it only faces one direction, it can't be alternated. Out of all of the Lego sets I've owned, this one included the wrong part! I'll have to find a replacement piece since I no longer own my old giant bin of Legos I can sift through. Aside from that one issue, this B-Wing is much more sturdy and detailed compared to the original model. When tilted, the cockpit rotates with gravity. The smaller wings can angle up and down and they each have spring loaded shooters on them to add a bit more action. I wish they had those when I was younger, but at least I have them now!

This was a birthday gift for our 12 year old grandson. It was a kit for an older model of a Star Wars vehicle which he had been wanting to complete his collection. He truly enjoyed putting it together. It took only a day but one that he had a good time with.
