LEGO Friends Heartlake feestwinkel

Ever since LEGO used the brown bubbles piece to represent dog doo doo (LEGO reviews is censoring the word!) in the Heartlake Puppy Daycare set (it's shown as a "play feature" to "scoop it up!" on the back of the box!), I just can't look at the chocolate fountain in this set the same way. It literally churns my stomach as all I can see Lego Dog Doo Doo at the top of the fountain. Check out the link to the Puppy Daycare set in my "product recommendations" below.

For a lego friend's set, this one doesn't compare at all to the others. It looks rushed or designed by a small child. I wouldn't recommend this set at all as the set is small for the money, no new pieces, and not many pieces with this one. Save your money.

Purchased as a Birthday gift and my Granddaughter loved it!

First up: this is an expensive set for the piece count. But, it's also rather rare as it wasn't sold in many places and has had a short shelf life. It goes very well in your Heartlake storefront strip, though as it's a fun shop that stands out. The accessories unique to the set really make it pop. It isn't a core/must-have set for your Friends diorama but it's a real standout once you handle the basic houses and simple shops.

My 5 & 8 granddaughters love this and other kits in the Friends line. I don't see why, personally. Not really building. Many of the pieces are flowers, fruits, etc. Not a lot of encouragement to really build, as is true with most of the other kits. And they are smaller than you might imagine. They do stimulate imaginative play and the 5 yr. old is using reading skills, but otherwise I suggest you put the $ into magna blocks (which I have done).
