I’ve ordered two of these units and both have become completely inoperable after less than a year of use. I have kept up with cleaning and care of the unit as per the manufacture directions and both units failed with the same problem. These ultrasonic humidifiers are prone to breaking and are extremely overpriced for what you get - the entire unit is essentially a large plastic shell with a single unltrasonic diaphram inside (I took a unit apart when the first one broke). Save your money and buy an old fashion heat-based humidifier for $20 from your local drug store.

Beautiful design but too expensive for the quality. Not easy to clean and not worth to buy.

Even though the ratings on Amazon weren't the highest, I liked the style and size. I bought it on September 2018, and have used it for less than a month. I LOVE it! It's exceedingly quiet, I love the gentle blue light, cleaning is a breeze. The gallon tank lasts me 3 nights..I only use for sleeping. One comment...when I was ready to examine the EZ Cal, I noticed that the date was stamped on the package...June 16, 2015! It's been sitting in Amazin's warehouse for awhile, I guess, but it works fine...like an aged wine!

I like the product design, but the steam comes out very small. The water tank is limited, so you will need to refill the tank 1 or 2 times a day. Easy to use, but does not feel like it is well made for the price.

There's a high pitched squeal common to ultrasonic humidifiers. This one is louder than a older and larger (and now non-working) Air-O-Swiss ultrasonic humidifier that I own.
