Max Factor Mascara Dark Magic - Black / Brown

I bought this Max Factor mascara because my favorite False Lash was out of stock. What a mistake. I wore it 3 times now and my eyes are irritated and burning. Besides that the mascara smudges and is flaking and the brush is totally worthless (very big and stiff, it hurt and is way too big). How can a company like Max Factor develop such a bad product...
