Amazon B0CW4HD359 Fire TV Stick 4K Max WiFi 6E Ambient TV

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max delivers impressive 4K streaming with excellent picture quality, supporting all major HDR formats including Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Its upgraded 2.0 GHz processor and doubled 16GB storage ensure fast app launches and smooth navigation, though some users report occasional lag during intensive use. Wi-Fi 6E support provides stable connections even on crowded networks, eliminating buffering issues. Setup is straightforward and the Alexa Voice Remote makes content discovery convenient. However, buyers should note the interface includes frequent advertisements, which some find distracting. The physical design may block neighboring HDMI ports, requiring the included adapter. While audio quality is solid for movies and TV, music playback timing could be better. The decision to use Micro USB instead of USB-C feels outdated. At its price point, it offers exceptional value compared to pricier alternatives like Apple TV 4K or Google TV Streamer, making it ideal for budget-conscious streamers who want quality 4K performance without premium costs.

Setup was far from a breeze. The remote is very temperamental during the setup phase, more often than not - failing to maintain a link with the dongle. Thinking it was just the device I was trying to use it on, I tried another - and another. Same result. Ended up having to Google troubleshooting steps and after numerous attempts, finally got it working. No more issues since. Whatever you do, don’t unplug it or power it off or you’ll have to battle to get the remote going all over again. Other than the remote issues, the features are seamless and by far, the best I’ve seen yet for an “all in one” place to access all your streaming accounts. Even includes a browser which is easy to use and looks pretty neat on a big screen! I’m using this with a 150” projector screen.

Work as intended, easy to connect and use. The operating system still the original one, so no issues on streaming.

I got this for use in a non smart tv, and it's been fantastic. Exactly what I wanted. Only had it a few months but no issues so far.
