Compact 17-inch touchscreen suitable for point-of-sale and kiosk applications
Low power consumption at 20W during operation reduces energy costs
Durable multi-touch glass overlay with impact and scratch resistance
Rotatable stand allows 90° pivot for flexible display orientation
1280x1024 resolution limits usability for detailed work or multiple windows
75Hz refresh rate causes visible flickering during extended viewing sessions
5ms response time results in motion blur unsuitable for dynamic content
Small 17-inch screen with 5:4 aspect ratio incompatible with modern widescreen content
The Iiyama ProLite T1732MSC-B1S is a specialized 17-inch touchscreen monitor designed for commercial applications like retail kiosks and industrial control systems. Its compact size, durable glass overlay, and multi-touch capability make it suitable for stationary point-of-sale environments. However, the low 1280x1024 resolution and 75Hz refresh rate limit its use for general computing tasks, detailed work, or content consumption. Best suited for dedicated commercial applications rather than office or home use.
