This monitor is great when it comes to picture-quality, but when it comes to quality-quality, it seems that it doesn't have much of it. A vertical blue (sometimes red or purple) line appeared after a month of use. Reached out to Amazon and they reached out to LG and suggested that I send the monitor for repair. They sent a shipping label, for free. That is nice...but I need something to see the picture that is coming out of my computer :) Even without this defect, I think that this machine is overpriced.

This monitor blacks out for 1-2 second every 30 seconds. I have replaced 3 DP cables but the problem still persists. I cannot believe a $1k+ monitor has this kind of issue. Do not buy this monitor!!

LG sacrifice their logo on the bottom vessel to show that this is a premium product. And this is the only thing that is not overpriced. Whereas when when using hdr watching youtube hdr content, I feel that it just slightly better to turn off the hdr. Compare to my ipad next to this monitor, although I cannot tell the difference, when hdr is on, retina display is slightly better.

In this model, LG has, by far, the best OSD and control in the market ... the joystick under the bottom bezel is brilliant, all important color spaces easily reached. What a joy to compare sRGB, AdobeRGB, Rec 709, EBU, and DCI-P3 in seconds. What the panel I received lacked was luminance (Y) uniformity, edge to edge. Distinct vignetting on a pure white screen. Back light (BL) bleed in a darkened editing suite was noticeably worse than the HP Z32, ProArt PA329c, and Lenovo P32u. Overall, we prefer the P32u and the PA329c. All four are IPS or variants (like, AHVA), but the HP and LG use LG panels; the Lenovo and Asus use AU Optronics panels. We use triple display editing stations, so the P32u at ~$700 (on sale) is a no-brainer. Most interesting is the upcoming LG OLED 32" "near reference" model, LG 32EP950, that will use a JOLED panel, not an LG panel (!). We'll try an LG 32EP950 ... don't know if we can afford triplets for each editing station.

Well, The image is crisp and clear. Colors or brilliant. The Only problem I have is, Very Minor, it on occasions looses its ability to Sync with input. A simple reset clears it up.
