I have two of these one for my PC and another for my laptop. Having researched all the wireless models with batteries and self charging I needed something a bit more reliable especially for my laptop which I take camping. It takes a few knocks but keeps working and as its on a cable I do not need to worry about power issues when I really need it. There is also less to go wrong.

This is great especially if you have small hands as a lot of mice now are very bulky and are not comfortable for the more petite handed person
