Yea it sure does orbit. Tracking is accurate and smooth. Note that it can be easy to accidentally bump the scroll ring. You can use "X Mouse Button Control" instead of KensingtonWorks which kinda sucks

A really nice product. Were passing by this mouse in the shop for a few years. Then started to get some discomfort in the wrist `from using conventional mouse - just too much strain. So decided to give this Kensington trackball with a scroll wheel a try. The wrist discomfort is gone. Compared to the other trackballs the scroll wheel is a game changer. But please do not share your snacks with the mouse and its scroll wheel. There is no problem with extracting the ball and cleaning it and inside the mouse. However, cleaning under the scroll wheel will probably require some extra effort. Get used and enjoy!

The mouse can be used for both hand. I used track ball for my left hand due to injury on right. I used both index finger and thumb to help with track both. Used on movement across 3 monitors (work)Allowed me to continue to work

Trackball is comfortable and fun to use, however during my experience this mouse seems to have some sort of input lag after not touching it for about 25-30 secs. Cursor will not move for around half a second before responding just fine. It personally gets annoying after a while and I will end up opting for another trackball. Other than that issue, everything functions and responds just fine.

Coming from a Logitech marble mouse that I literally can only get on ebay for 200, I had high hopes for this. The thumb wheels mess me up so I figured this was as close as I was gonna get. It is not nearly as good or comfortable as my marble mouse :(
