De Brother Innov-is NV1850Q wordt door winkels en gebruikers omschreven als een zeer soepele, stille en krachtige naai- en quiltmachine. Met 232 steken, meerdere lettertypen, automatische draadafsnijder, kniehevel, pivotfunctie en een grote 8,3 inch werkruimte met brede tafel is hij duidelijk gericht op quilters en creatieve naaiers. Het Square Feed Drive System en ICAPS zorgen voor een gelijkmatige stofdoorvoer, ook bij dikkere of meerdere lagen. De keerzijde is dat de machine in een hogere prijsklasse valt dan eenvoudige modellen en dat de vele mogelijkheden tijd vragen om onder de knie te krijgen. Wie vooral rechttoe-rechtaan wil naaien, kan dit model als te uitgebreid ervaren. Voor wie serieus met quilten en grotere projecten bezig is en comfort en precisie belangrijk vindt, is het echter een zeer aantrekkelijke en complete keuze.

I have been sewing for 40 years including some years when I did it for a living. I had two machines during this time, first one still working :)) ,second served me 27 years and recently died :( . After a long search, about two months ago I bought Brother Innov-Is NV1800Q Computerised Sewing Machine. I can already say that this is a great machine. Almost... It has many figures, possibilities, the seam goes beautifully, but... The head of the machine is so big and so close to the flat bed (needle plate cover), that it limits the operational space under the machine’s head. I already can’t imagine how I am going to sew (attach) a collar to a shirt when you need to use your fingers a lot. I already had a problem with making/sewing folds In masks... I really hope that the manufacturer will take this to its attention and will improve this beautiful machine.

So happy with my purchase of my innov-is nv1800q. I'm still learning to use all the features but those I have learned have made my life so much easier. I quilted 2 queen size quilts that I really struggled with on my old machine. I gave up part way through through the first one and went out and bought my Brother machine. WOW, what a difference. I've also made several other items that the machine stitched really well. Thanks for a wonderful product Brother.

Easy to use, Smooth and quiet sewing, has plenty of different functions for all types of sewing e.g Dressmaking to patchwork and quilting. I couldnt have purchased a better sewing machine for the price.

I absolutely love this machine. I was unsure of how I would manage a computerised sewing machine, as my previous one was a turn dial. But it is so easy to use. If have so far only played with the stitches, but it sews beautifully, and it has given me the potential of taking my sewing to another level that my old machine could not - like free motion. I would definitely recommend this machine for anyone wanting to upgrade from a more basic model.
