This machine is so easy to use. You do have to control the speed with your foot rather than a speed lever. I have used it for straight Stitching as well as the free motion and have chosen some different stitches and again there is nothing complicated about it, just find the number you want.

Works, but I find it has a tendency to drag the material into the base when starting close to an edge, resulting in huge tangles and knots…

Bought as a Christmas gift for my arty wife to replace an older machine that was given away. She has spent ages using it crafting different things, sewing on buttons and hemming curtains all in the last week! Very easy to use, comprehensive instruction guide, store tray for bits and bobs, foot pedal and 3 pin U.K. plug. Well made from a recognised brand. She love it!
