This is a really striking rose gold, and the consistency is thick enough to only need 1 coat. Superb!

I have bought this polish twice now! I haven't really worn it as a base colour (except for an accent nail here and there) but as a stamping polish, it is PERFECTION. And I love the new wide brush. I hope they never stop making this because I love it so much.

Streaky, awful, just a mess! Penny talk is a pretty color, but the formula may be the most awful mail polish I have ever used. The best way I’ve found to deal with it is to use just one stroke. If your nail requires two or three strokes, let each one dry for a few minutes before you back or it will lift up the just-applied polish. Make sure to allow to dry very well before going back to apply a top coat. The brush that I got is actually very nice and reminds me of OPI’s pro wide brush, but it didn’t help much. I’ll be on the hunt for a similar color in a better formula.

Almost as soon as I painted my nails, it chipped, with minimal activity. Spend more, and get better brand.

Penny Talk is a let down, pretty color, poor formula. I picked this out as a fall shade that wouldn't be too dark on my fair skin. The color in the bottle is a very light metallic brown, applied it appears almost rose gold. I like the color either way, but the formula is terrible. While I only experienced mild streaking and unevenness, the biggest issue is chipping. It's started chipping the day after I applied it and after 3 days it looks awful and has chipped a lot. Usually Essie is pretty solid, but this shade is a dud.
