Netgear A6100

This is honestly pathetic — it worked fine before, but ever since I got a new modem the Netgear adapter can’t stop disconnecting and lagging like it’s from 2010. The modem is fast, my Wavlink adapter works instantly, but Netgear? Completely useless. I swear it feels like they don’t even know Windows 11 exists. What a joke of a product.

Pretty useless when you need to be connected to the internet to download the installation software and the whole purpose of the product is to be able to connect to the internet.

If feel this is a good adapter you can use on pcs. There is two problems. One is that you need to bring your pc to the room with wifi to activate it initially, second it does break after being used for like 4-6 months. So I feel it's good

You can only use this adapter if your device already has internet access without it. If your computer lacks a wired internet connection, you'll need a second computer to download the required driver and then transfer it to the desired computer. *This process can be quite frustrating.*

I bought this Wi-Fi dongle expecting a plug-and-play experience, or at the very least, a simple driver installation from the included materials. Instead, what I got was a frustrating, circular nightmare. The device requires internet access to download the drivers needed to connect to the internet. You read that right. A Wi-Fi dongle that needs internet... to connect to the internet. Brilliant.
