StarTech.com PCI Express Netwerkkaart - STARTECH - 2 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 poorten - POE/PSE

I know it's a PCI add-in card. Since it's using the Realtek chipset, it's expected to perform less. In reality, it can do around 500-600Mbps transfers both ways, however with a significant enough fluctuation in speed. Again, I know it's a PCI device, so this should be more or less expected. I use it as a 100Mbps NIC so I'm perfectly happy with it. YMMY

Good Points: Works with my FireWire interface on Windows 10. Excellent. Comes with instructions on how to install the legacy drivers.

Good Points: I plugged it in and it worked (Win10) Improvement Points: Design = 6 (maybe put some sparkly unicorns on it or something)

It works easy enough to set up and slot better connection as I only had 100mb before and now I get closer to 300mb so happy.

Currently reviving an old PC that still has drivers for my older peripherals and this blast from the past PCI Ethernet card allowed me to run a small private network offline for secure work on an otherwise obsolete machine.
