i needed more Ethernet ports. I purchased and hooked up. It didn't really seem to work as good as the Netgear one so I swapped it out. Not sure if this is much help.

This LevelOne GSW-0807 8-port gigabit switch is silent and fast...all at an excellent price...assuming that it has a long life-span. The vendor delivered the product promptly and in excellent condition. Top quality all around. Yes, I'd recommend this product and vender.

Looks good, but does not have the solid feel I had expected. The wall mount screws goes on the underside of the unit, which is impractical since mounting it that way the port status lights are not visible.
