Shimmering Taupe is a beautiful light greyed brown, with no hint of warmth. This is the perfect neutral taupe for my NC15 skin, not too dark, but just the right depth of color to show up. The shimmer is not over the top but instead is just the right amount to bring light to my face, and there is also no fallout. This color really makes my blue/green eyes stand out, and it makes my eyes look brighter. I love this color and wear it as a sheer wash for day, and with a vibrant liner for nights out. I have deep-set eyes, and this does not make me look older and does not make my eyes look more recessed. The formula is silky smooth and pigmented, and is easy to apply with no patchiness. I love this color and highly recommend!

When both colors are worn together this duo does not look good on me, but the texture and pigmentation are excellent. The darkest color, the khaki green, looks like a shimmery olive in the pan but goes on muddy on my skin. Even applying this as a liner color using a liquid eyeshadow converter (which makes any eyeshadow color more pigmented and brings out any shimmer or glitter) doesn't look anything special. Trying to do a smoky eye with this just doesn't work with my deep set eyes and just makes me look tired. This khaki is just not a good color for my NC15 skin. The lighter color of the duo is a frosty peachy pink which is fairly wearable when worn by itself (with a light hand though) and I much prefer using this lighter color than the darker one even if the frost is a little over the top. Overall I only use the lighter part of this duo occasionally and the darker color rarely so it is not worth the money and I won't repurchase.
