John Masters Organics Deep Scalp Purifying Serum 57 ml

After pouring over lots of reviews I decided to give this John Masters Organic Scalp serum a try. I have been on a serious mission to try to solve my itchy scalp and dry hair which seems all to common for my age. I have switched to a low EWG rating 'organic' shampoo, conditioner and gel. I wash my hair every other day. At the evening of day two I put a few drops in my palm and apply the serum to my now sensitive feeling scalp. It brings relief for a few hours. After washing my hair the next morning I apply on wet hair-'The John Masters Organics Scalp' - Deep Scalp Follicle Treatment & Volumizer for thinning hair - I have over the shoulder coloured straight thick fine hair. Both have no fragrance which is a good thing. The jury is still out on both John Master's scalp products.

Reading the description, this product seemed too good to be true. Lately I suffered from hair loss and itchy scalp and this serum was supposed to take care of both. I bought it together with a heavily scented anti-frizz oil from the same brand, and luckily this serum is NOT scented. It also comes in a nice, dark brown glass bottle with drop dispenser. It is a very thick serum, a bit difficult to spread on the scalp, but not greasy at all. Despite a less than impressive start, after a few weeks of treatment I start noticing a difference as far as the itching is concerned. I might repurchase. However I am not that impressed by John Masters and I am reconsidering trying any other product. It is a shame because I like their policy.
