I'm black. I have very thick and very coarse hair. My hair is NOT relaxed. I decided to flat iron my hair so that I could trim my ends but my hair usually last around 1-2 days with that style. I used this and it's been a whole week and my hair is still not poofy. I love it!

I just don't enjoy this product at all. I tried every way to make it work and it just a flat out no for me.

It does a decent job of both protecting your hair from heat and straightening it. Yes, if you spray too much then it does leave your hair very wet looking. I also had a problem with feeling like I had a film in my hair which is very frustrating if you just washed your hair. I personally don't like the smell of Matrix products. I don't want my hair to smell like men's cologne.

I use this everyday. It smells amazing and helps protect my hair from frizz and damage when I curl or straighten it. I can tell a major difference in my hair if I don't use this product. It is a must have!

I just used this for the first time. My hair looks sleek and less fly aways! I'm always very cautious about using product on my hair bc most of them make my hair greasy. This one did not!!!
