Canon Maxify GX6050 MegaTank

We already had an ink tank printer from a different make which although cheap to run failed to impress in a number of ways eg. Colour rendition. A small screen.Constantly suggesting the scanner didn't exist why? A friend had a Canon Maxify . Although more expensive it was head and shoulders better than ours even in appearance A change in my work meant I was considering a Laser printer. This will do the Job without the big bills for Toner. The touch screen is also a big improvement over a tiny scroll through menu. It was very easy to set up . I had excellent advice from an E-mail query before purchase.

Bought this recently after my 3 elderly existing printers started giving problems - i guess because update software disliked me buying ink from other sources. Anyway this measures up to the Which? report. I would give it 5 but it is comparatively new and really needs more testing to get the upgrade. Decided to buy another for my outside office but see delivery not until November. I wish Amazon (which i adore) would highlight when delivery dates are lengthy.

Following a fair bit of research chose this as it offered - reasonable print speeds full duplex auto printing ink tanks for reduced costs 1200dpi print and scan ADF support for numerous Wi-Fi print protocols esp. AirPrint. First impressions are great. Speedy top quality printing - documents with graphics and photos on the right paper. Not a pro photo printer better inks are available for that but I wanted a well built home office devices that scans and copies and it s all of that. Seems very well built compared to others I looked at.

I selected this from the Printerland website as it was described given comprehensively and clearly plus the price beat all the competition. Ii arrived next day as promised. I hadn't been looking forward to going through the initial the set-up connection procedure as my experience with previous printers was often less than straightforward. However I was amazed at just how easy and non-problematic it proved The accompanying Canon booklet gave clear step-by-step instructions and the whole procedure went smoothly. The operation touch screen is a good size and adjustable for optimum view. The printer certainly lives up to expectations so far in terms of print speed and output quality and I fully expect to make a very significant saving on ink costs in comparison with the cartridge-based printers I used previously. Very pleased

got this model for ink bottles and at fair price brand new so will have to wait to see how we go
