Yamaha A-S501 Zwart

I popped into Richer Sounds, Cardiff looking for an amplifier and the team there were brilliant, really helpful in running me through the best options to complement my home system. I ended up going with the excellent Yamaha AS501. It's a fantastic amplifier with really nice midrange clarity and has excellent power so can drive even more difficult speakers. It does a great job driving my Mission 702e speakers and Klipsch R100 sub, it really has brought out the best from my system them. I've never heard it sounding so good. I must thank the team in Cardiff for the time they spent with me running me through the best options.

The sound difference with the turntable is much better. Visions salesperson was excellent.

Its a Yamaha Amplifier with well rounded sound with great options for rear panel connections. Well Reviewed. Just right for my Stereo needs.

great little unit, simple, clean sounding, I like it.

The absolute black face is hard to see in anything but direct sunlight, the function ID print is really small, and the volume knob has no visible means to tell if the level is up or down (I really miss the numeric digital screen readout on my Onkyo). The buttons on the remote are the same way. Still glad I own it, decent power, reliable solid state (no tubes). Sales and service from Music Direct was top notch.
