These are my 6th pair, so obviously they are pretty good. The sole is thick enough so that I can use them on cycling holidays without the need of taking any other footwear. They usually last a reasonable time, but like tyres, the better the grip, the shorter the lifespan. The original spider rubber had superior grip, while the newer ones claim spider rubber, but unlike the early manufactured ones, they can slip on wet ground, like tiles. They are still better than most other brands. They are also wider than a similar, well known product, which I cannot use for that very reason. My only real complaint is the Velcro strap. Like all Velcro, over time dust and debris collect, and it stops working, (no matter how you try and clean them). That is the main reason I have to replace them. Despite this, they are still my go-to footwear. They arrived in good order and on time.
