De Philips S7887/55 Series 7000 is een scheerapparaat dat uitblinkt in huidvriendelijkheid en comfort, vooral voor mensen met een gevoelige huid. Dankzij de NanoTech-mesjes en flexibele scheerhoofden krijg je een glad resultaat, zowel nat als droog. De batterij gaat lang mee en het reinigingsstation maakt onderhoud eenvoudig. Wel is de scheerkop vrij groot, wat het zicht soms belemmert, en wordt er geen stroomadapter meegeleverd. De trimmer werkt alleen goed vanuit één richting en bij langere of platliggende haren is soms extra aandacht nodig. Over het algemeen is dit een betrouwbaar en comfortabel scheerapparaat voor dagelijks gebruik.

Philips S7887/35 razor.After 4 months use, I am still happy with my Philips razor. But there are some niggles though and improvements that could be made.1. My first shave with it tore brilliantly through my 4 day stubble. However since then it feels like the sharpness of the blades has dulled and I have to go over my face multiple times to get a close shave. Maybe the blades aren't as good as more expensive models.2. The case isn't big enough. The hard case that it comes with collects some of the shaving deposits and spoils the case. A bag would be more practical, not just because it's lighter, but a bag could also accommodate the base charger, USB lead and cleaning brush. The case isnt big enough to do that.3. The user booklet that came with the razor isn't great. I couldn't understand what all the various warning lights meant; the booklet isn't clear on this.

I had my old shaver for probably 10+ years so it was time for a new one. Very surprised by how much better this new one is. Should have fought it long ago.
