De Black & Decker KA900E-QS is geliefd om zijn krachtige motor en veelzijdigheid, vooral bij precisiewerk en moeilijk bereikbare plekken. De variabele snelheid en cyclonic stofopvang worden vaak geprezen, maar de stofopvang raakt snel vol bij intensief gebruik. Het apparaat is minder geschikt voor zware industriële klussen en biedt standaard slechts één bandbreedte. Voor nauwkeurig schuren, vormen en roest verwijderen is dit een betrouwbare keuze, maar houd rekening met de beperkingen bij langdurig of zwaar gebruik.

Ik het apparaat 4x gebruikt ... 3 keer voor hout en .. 1x voor kunststof/aluminium Met hout werk dit apparaat goed als je hem kortdurig gebruikt (want raakt snel warm ) Met kunststof en aluminium raak dit apparaat te snel heet Ook als je weinig druk zet op het werkstuk . Met als gevolg dat onderdelen die van kunststof zijn gemaakt , maar beter van metaal gemaakt hadden kunnen worden smelten . (kop van motor , aandrijf wiel en afschermkapje ) Dus voor kleine bewerkingen werk dit apparaat goed . Maar voor intensief gebruik is dit apparaat naar mijn mening niet geschikt . Eindoordeel is dus .... een afrader ! Ps: Extra hulpstukken zijn makkelijk te vinden op de site , maar onderdelen voor reparatie zijn naar mijn beleving zeer moeilijk te vinden. (sterker nog , ik kon ze niet vinden) Zodat het erg lastig word om het apparaat zelf te repareren .

My husband was supposed to bring the Black and Decker Corded belt sander back for a refund. As he didnt have my card B and Q replaced it instead of refunding it. I am going to get him to take it back and ask for a refund as was originally expected and it was of a poor quality and not fit for purpose.

Nice and simple tool to use. One note of caution is check the belt sizes, the website proposed buying the wrong size.

I bought this for the specific task of cleaning up a painted railng which was rusting. It performed well in removing those areas of rust which were causing a problem. However after about 2 hours of intermittent use the rubber ring covering the front pulley split and detached itself. This appears to have slackened the sanding belt since it now comes off with very little pressure on it.
