I gave this product a middle of the road rating because it didn't work for me, but I am probably the wrong hair type for it so it may work better for you. This was recommended to me by my stylist. I have very normal healthy hair. This conditioner comes in a pot that you scoop out which I thought I'd hate, but I actually like the container. Because it's so thick I don't think you could get it out of a bottle. But it's quite heavy. My hair gets very greasy looking when I use it. I didn't mind it so much in the dry harsh winter, but in summer my hair just looks dirty and greasy.

I just want a regular old shampoo that cleans. This lathers beautifully, smells nice not amazing, and feels luxe. But it's too heavy and my hair gets greasy looking very fast when I use it. I don't think it causes build up but it definitely gets heavy. I didn't notice as much in the winter, which is probably because of the drier air. But in the summer I just look greasy.

Great shampoo with my fine bleach-damaged hair with a scalp that has a tendency to get too oily too quickly. It doesn't weigh down my hair but is gentle enough.

Who this will work for: Anyone with a European hair type (fine to medium hair shaft thickness) that is of medium to thick density and lower than bra level or below shoulders if it's very dry. I dry my hair after shampooing, slather this on and put my hair in a bun for half an hour or so to let it sink in. I use it twice a week and make sure I use a clarifying shampoo in my hair so it doesn't build up over time. The result is silky, moisturised long hair that isn't weighed down and has a 'bounce' to it. As long as you have the right hair type this works miracles! I am unsure how this would perform on very dry or damaged hair or for any woman/man of colour as my hair type is quite different. Worth a try!!
