De Oakley MOD1 MIPS White-S is een lichtgewicht ski- en snowboardhelm met een laag profiel en in-moldconstructie, ontworpen voor rijders die een skate-achtige stijl en comfortabele pasvorm zoeken. Het BOA 360° fitsysteem verdeelt de druk gelijkmatig rondom het hoofd en maakt fijn afstellen eenvoudig, terwijl MIPS-technologie extra bescherming biedt tegen rotatiekrachten bij schuine impacts. De vaste ventilatie en specifieke brilrand-openingen helpen om warme lucht uit de bril te voeren en zo beslaan te beperken, maar doordat de ventilatie niet verstelbaar is kan de helm in zeer koude of winderige omstandigheden wat tochtig aanvoelen. De Fidlock magnetische gesp maakt openen en sluiten met handschoenen erg eenvoudig en de uitneembare, wasbare liner en oorpads verhogen het gebruiksgemak, al ervaren sommige gebruikers de binnenvoering als wat stug of minder zacht op een gevoelige huid. Omdat de helm vaak klein uitvalt en geen geïntegreerde audio-oplossing biedt, is hij vooral interessant voor wie pasvorm, eenvoud en laag gewicht belangrijker vindt dan maximale features.

I tried this helmet on with and without the gator I normally ski with. It fit perfectly with the gator and, after easily tightening the helmet while wearing it, then it fit perfectly without the gator, too. Can't wait to to get out on the mountain next season!

I purchased this ski helmet, excited to finally try skiing with it for the first time. However, my experience quickly turned from excitement to fear due to a critical failure of this helmet during my very first use. As the picture shows, the helmet cracked almost completely through after what should have been a manageable fall. This level of damage is unacceptable for a product meant to protect your head during high-impact sports. The integrity of the helmet's material was clearly subpar, leaving me questioning its safety standards. A helmet is a crucial safety tool for skiing, and this one failed spectacularly when I needed it most. Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured, but this incident could have ended much worse. I cannot recommend this product to anyone and strongly urge the manufacturer to reevaluate the design and materials used. Safety should never be compromised, and this product missed the mark entirely. Do not risk your well-being with this helmet!

I measured my head and the helmet fit my head perfectly. But the ear flaps stuck out too far and are not flush to my ears. They would not keep my ears warn. Returned.

This Oakley Mod I Pro is a fantastic fit for my husband. He especially likes the ear pockets because he's sensitive to getting his ears squished.
