De Oakley Mod1 Pro is vooral interessant voor all-mountain skiërs en snowboarders die een combinatie van duurzaam materiaal, moderne veiligheidstechniek en een strak design zoeken, omdat de Dura-Matter schaal in combinatie met MIPS en een 360-graden BOA-systeem zowel bescherming als een stabiele pasvorm biedt. De relatief lichte, low-profile vorm en de goede aansluiting op Oakley-brillen maken de helm geschikt voor rijders die hun uitrusting veel gebruiken, terwijl de verwijderbare oorpads en voering het makkelijker maken om de helm aan te passen aan warme of koude dagen en hem schoon te houden. Houd er rekening mee dat de Pro-versie wat zwaarder en duurder is dan de standaard Mod1 en dat de ventilatie en audio-opties minder uitgebreid zijn dan bij sommige high-end freeridehelmen, waardoor veeleisende gebruikers eventueel toch naar nog meer premium modellen zullen kijken.

I tried this helmet on with and without the gator I normally ski with. It fit perfectly with the gator and, after easily tightening the helmet while wearing it, then it fit perfectly without the gator, too. Can't wait to to get out on the mountain next season!

I purchased this ski helmet, excited to finally try skiing with it for the first time. However, my experience quickly turned from excitement to fear due to a critical failure of this helmet during my very first use. As the picture shows, the helmet cracked almost completely through after what should have been a manageable fall. This level of damage is unacceptable for a product meant to protect your head during high-impact sports. The integrity of the helmet's material was clearly subpar, leaving me questioning its safety standards. A helmet is a crucial safety tool for skiing, and this one failed spectacularly when I needed it most. Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured, but this incident could have ended much worse. I cannot recommend this product to anyone and strongly urge the manufacturer to reevaluate the design and materials used. Safety should never be compromised, and this product missed the mark entirely. Do not risk your well-being with this helmet!

I measured my head and the helmet fit my head perfectly. But the ear flaps stuck out too far and are not flush to my ears. They would not keep my ears warn. Returned.

This Oakley Mod I Pro is a fantastic fit for my husband. He especially likes the ear pockets because he's sensitive to getting his ears squished.
