De POC Fornix BC is ontwikkeld voor serieuze backcountry- en all-mountain-skiërs die naast comfort ook geavanceerde veiligheidsfuncties zoeken, zoals MIPS, aramideversterkingen, een RECCO-reflector en een NFC medische ID-chip. De lichte hybride constructie met EPS-liner en polycarbonaat buitenschaal biedt goede bescherming zonder onnodig gewicht, terwijl verstelbare ventilatie en geïntegreerde goggle-openingen zorgen voor temperatuurcontrole en minder kans op beslagen lenzen tijdens toeren of lange afdalingen. Dankzij het 360° passysteem en de warme, afneembare oorpads sluit de helm nauw aan, maar de vele technische opties en lawinefuncties drijven de prijs op en zijn voor wie alleen op de piste skiet mogelijk meer dan nodig.

The POC Fornix BC MIPS Helmet is a well built product. I have skied in POC helmets for over 10 plus years. One actually saved my life. As a ski instructor/coach, I need a dependable "brain bucket" to protect me from elements as well as any accidents that could happen. The fit is excellent. The BC model offers more protection than the POC standard helmet. I would highly recommend this helmet for any black level skier that ventures off groom or skis in the trees.
