De POC Fornix Mips is een lichte all-mountain ski- en snowboardhelm met een stevige in-mold constructie, aramiddelbruggen en een EPS-schaal die gericht zijn op een goede bescherming zonder onnodig gewicht. De helm biedt een 360° verstelsysteem en verstelbare ventilatiekanalen, zodat de pasvorm en koeling eenvoudig aan omstandigheden en persoonlijke voorkeur zijn aan te passen. Dankzij MIPS-technologie en goed geplaatste ventilatieopeningen, inclusief zogenaamde goggle-chimneys, combineert dit model extra rotatiebescherming met redelijk effectieve afvoer van warmte en damp uit de bril. Tegelijkertijd geven gebruikers regelmatig aan dat de ventilatiebediening met handschoenen wat stroef is, dat de pasvorm niet voor elk hoofd ideaal is en dat de hogere prijs vooral interessant is voor veeleisende wintersporters die extra bescherming en comfort belangrijk vinden.

Becareful with this one. It runs small and I had to return it with a $12 return shipping charge. For my head I need XL. I ordered the Xl/XXL and it was very tight on the sides.

I ordered a black but got something that resembled the apartite blue instead (logos missing as on the black). Otherwise helmet looks great, got a medium for my 56cm head and it was very snug

POC is synonymous with safety helmets, and they look good and have a lot of vents. Very suitable for Asian heads.

My son loves this helmet. Super comfortable. This helmet doesn't bother his ears and keeps his head warm. It sits comfortably in a safe position and very easy to spot on the mountain.

Great helmet. Nice & light. Easy to adjust sizing & remove/replace the ear pads. Very stylish as well and the venting system works great. Having MIPS technology is a nice bonus knowing that it'll help keep you safe.
