De POC Fornix Mips is een all-mountain skihelm die bekendstaat om zijn hoge veiligheidsniveau dankzij de combinatie van MIPS-technologie en aramiddelagen in de schaal. De helm is relatief licht, biedt een comfortabele pasvorm met een 360° verstelsysteem en beschikt over uitgebreide, instelbare ventilatiekanalen die helpen om het hoofd koel of juist warm te houden afhankelijk van de omstandigheden. Daarnaast zorgen speciale openingen en een vaste goggleclip voor een goede samenwerking met skibrillen en minder snel beslaande glazen. Mogelijke nadelen zijn de hogere prijs ten opzichte van veel concurrenten, de in-mold constructie die wat gevoeliger kan zijn voor cosmetische schade en een ventilatieschuif die niet door iedereen even makkelijk te bedienen is met dikke handschoenen. Ook kan de pasvorm, zoals bij elke helm, voor sommige hoofdvormen minder goed aansluiten, waardoor passen voor aankoop aan te raden is.

Becareful with this one. It runs small and I had to return it with a $12 return shipping charge. For my head I need XL. I ordered the Xl/XXL and it was very tight on the sides.

I ordered a black but got something that resembled the apartite blue instead (logos missing as on the black). Otherwise helmet looks great, got a medium for my 56cm head and it was very snug

POC is synonymous with safety helmets, and they look good and have a lot of vents. Very suitable for Asian heads.

My son loves this helmet. Super comfortable. This helmet doesn't bother his ears and keeps his head warm. It sits comfortably in a safe position and very easy to spot on the mountain.

Great helmet. Nice & light. Easy to adjust sizing & remove/replace the ear pads. Very stylish as well and the venting system works great. Having MIPS technology is a nice bonus knowing that it'll help keep you safe.
