De POC Obex MIPS is een all-mountain skihelm die bekendstaat om zijn combinatie van veiligheid, comfort en een relatief laag gewicht. Dankzij de geïntegreerde MIPS-laag en een degelijke in-mold/ hardshell-constructie biedt de helm goede bescherming bij zowel directe als roterende impactkrachten. Het verstelbare ventilatiesysteem en de afneembare oorpads zorgen voor draagcomfort in uiteenlopende weersomstandigheden, terwijl de vaste brillenclip en pasvormverstelling de helm praktisch maken voor intensief gebruik op de piste. Potentiële kopers moeten er echter rekening mee houden dat de pasvorm vrij specifiek is, dat het aantal ventilatieopeningen beperkt is en dat de prijs hoger ligt dan bij veel basismodellen, waardoor passen en afwegen van budget belangrijk zijn.

First poc helmet I've bought. I think I will always buy them from now on. I've only ever had smith helmets an a friend had one so I tried it one day on the hill an fell in love with it, especially after I broke one of my smith maze helmets. Also their ear pads on the smith's crush mh ears this obex has recessed ear holes and when you pull it on they are not being crushed. Feels snug an secure. I got the tan one but didn't know that the paint faded which is fine bit just a for warning.

Great fit, comfortable, and good colors. The POC Obex MIPS is a great choice for anything from resort riding to backcountry.

I've only used this helmet once snowboarding on a cold bluebird deep powder day, but so far it's everything I was hoping for. Very lightweight and comfy almost forget you're wearing it. Ear pads did a great job at keeping the ears warm. Easily adjusted by the turn of a knob. Fits well with the Oakley Flight Path L goggle with no gap between helmet line and google, and front vents seemed to help with fogging, experienced zero fogging the entire day, but also could have been the googles. Most importantly kept my noggin safe cartwheeling down some double blacks (first day getting the sea legs back)
