De Sweet Protection Looper Mips is een lichtgewicht all‑mountain helm met een strak, minimalistisch ontwerp die toch veel technologie van de high‑end modellen erft, zoals in‑mold Impact Shields en Mips voor extra bescherming tegen zowel directe als roterende krachten bij een val.[3][5][7][9][13][15] De helm biedt een comfortabele pasvorm met draaiknop, verwijderbare audio‑ready oorpads en geïntegreerde skibrilventilatie die helpt om condensvorming te beperken, terwijl de directe ventilatie voor een relatief koele en goed doorluchte helm zorgt.[3][5][7][9][11][13][15] Tegelijkertijd moeten kopers rekening houden met het ontbreken van verstelbare ventilatiekleppen, waardoor sommige gebruikers extra koelte aan het voorhoofd ervaren en soms moeten improviseren, en met kleine gebruiksminpunten zoals een wat priegelige skibrilband‑houder en minder uitgebreide features dan bij de duurdere Switcher‑serie.[3][5][7][9][11][13][15]

This is the best "entry-level" helmet I've ever used. This helmet is comfortable, lightweight, and the vents offer a nice mix between warmth and breathability. The back-band tightening mechanism is easy to adjust and sets this helmet apart from its competitors in the "entry-level" space.

This and previous model of Looper helmets are just odd in their fitment - never had any brand fit like this. I'm in the XL and chart states my head is at the lower-end of the range (as expected, should be plenty of adjustment available) but even one or two clicks of the boa system tightened makes it feel far too tight at the sides and (oddly) top of the helmet. It feels like there's a flat spot rather than a dome shape at the top of the helmet. Tried various fit-pads included for both this model and non-MIPS Looper but nothing worked. Apparently my head doesn't work with the Sweet Protection human head schematic which is strange. Can't imagine I'm the only one (Smith, Giro, Arai, Cannondale, Glade, etc never had an issue like this with). Too bad because it's good looking, lightweight and decent feature-set. Hope it works for your head!

We love Sweet Protection. Note they run a little smaller than other brands so we get a little bigger size.
