De Sweet Protection Looper Mips TE Helm is een all-mountain en park helm met Mips en in-mold Impact Shields voor extra bescherming bij harde en schuine impacts. De helm is relatief licht, heeft een comfortabele binnenvoering en een eenvoudig draaisysteem om de pasvorm nauwkeurig af te stellen. Dankzij de uitgebreide ventilatie en geïntegreerde goggle-ventilatie blijft het hoofd koel en blijven de skibrillen meestal vrij van condens, al ervaren sommige gebruikers de vaste openingen als wat te fris op koude dagen. De verwijderbare, audio-ready oorpads maken het mogelijk om eenvoudig muziek te luisteren, maar de benodigde audiochips moeten apart worden gekocht. Het strakke, minimalistische design spreekt veel all-mountain en park-rijders aan, al ligt de prijs hoger dan bij instaphelmen zonder Mips en heeft de helm een open, class B-constructie met minder omsluitende dekking dan full-shell modellen.

This is the best "entry-level" helmet I've ever used. This helmet is comfortable, lightweight, and the vents offer a nice mix between warmth and breathability. The back-band tightening mechanism is easy to adjust and sets this helmet apart from its competitors in the "entry-level" space.

This and previous model of Looper helmets are just odd in their fitment - never had any brand fit like this. I'm in the XL and chart states my head is at the lower-end of the range (as expected, should be plenty of adjustment available) but even one or two clicks of the boa system tightened makes it feel far too tight at the sides and (oddly) top of the helmet. It feels like there's a flat spot rather than a dome shape at the top of the helmet. Tried various fit-pads included for both this model and non-MIPS Looper but nothing worked. Apparently my head doesn't work with the Sweet Protection human head schematic which is strange. Can't imagine I'm the only one (Smith, Giro, Arai, Cannondale, Glade, etc never had an issue like this with). Too bad because it's good looking, lightweight and decent feature-set. Hope it works for your head!

We love Sweet Protection. Note they run a little smaller than other brands so we get a little bigger size.
