De Sweet Protection Switcher Mips is een hoogwaardige all‑mountain ski- en snowboardhelm met een hybride hardshell/in-mold constructie en Impact Shields, ontworpen om krachten bij harde impacts over een groter oppervlak te verdelen en zo de bescherming te maximaliseren.[2][4][8][10] Dankzij 22 individueel regelbare ventilatieopeningen, bediend met één draaiknop, kun je de luchtstroom zeer precies aanpassen, wat hem geschikt maakt voor zowel koude dagen als warmere lentesessies.[2][4][8][10] De helm is uitgerust met Mips om rotatiekrachten bij schuine vallen te beperken, heeft een comfortabel verstelsysteem, een magnetische kinbandsluiting en audio-ready oorpads met goede skibrilintegratie, maar gebruikers moeten rekening houden met het relatief hoge gewicht, de wat forse uitstraling en een binnenvoering die iets minder zacht is dan bij sommige lichtere concurrenten.[2][4][8][10]

Not all helmets are built the same, and certainly don't fit the same. Have used all the major brands in the past but the SP Switcher is the only one I've ever purchased twice. Fits great and doesn't feel I'm wearing anything on my melon. Shouldn't have to think about your helmet when you're ripping around the mountain.

I have a huge head, so my options are limited. This helmet fit brilliantly, and I loved it, until I skied in it. I've never had a helmet that whistles, but this one does. ALL the time. I contacted customer support, and they told me to put in earplugs or wear a hat underneath it. Okay. Despite the fit, I would not recommend this helmet. I ski fast and hard. I don't want to hear whistling. It truly whistles nonstop, and I can't believe they didn't figure this out in product testing.

Not very comfortable at all. The helmet was too tight on my temples. For the price I would expect there to be some form of padding in the helmet liner, there wasn't.

Great fitting comfortable helmet. I'm glad I went for the medium/large size as I was in between this and the small. Easy to use chin clasp. Looks great.

It is a lot smaller than the size guider recommendations. I should have ordered a medium. But it fits my daughter's head so I gave it to her. So, it all worked out!
