De Apple Watch SE 2024 40mm Zilver biedt snelle prestaties door de S9-chip en een helder OLED-scherm dat goed zichtbaar is in fel licht. Fitness- en gezondheidsfuncties zoals hartslagmeting, slaaptracking en valdetectie zijn uitgebreid en betrouwbaar. De waterbestendigheid tot 50 meter maakt hem geschikt voor zwemmen. Het horloge werkt naadloos samen met andere Apple apparaten en is eenvoudig te bedienen. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van een always-on display en geavanceerde sensoren zoals ECG en bloedzuurstof. De batterij gaat ongeveer 18 uur mee, dus dagelijks opladen is nodig. Ook werkt de Watch alleen met iPhones, wat een beperking is voor Android-gebruikers. Voor wie een betaalbare, veelzijdige smartwatch zoekt binnen het Apple-ecosysteem, is dit een sterke keuze, maar wie geavanceerde gezondheidsfuncties wil, moet naar een duurder model kijken.

The watch looks good on & I love the fact that I was able to change the watch face via an app. The strap doesn’t need much of a knock to open, it’s already fell off once while out walking so I am concerned about losing it. I’ve been looking at getting an Apple Watch for a long time, I’m not sure if I perhaps should have just left it on my wish list rather than actually buying it. It’s ok but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The battery isn’t great, it needs charging every day. A disappointing purchase.

Great watch to introduce someone to the world of Apple Watches. Extremely useful and packed with all the necessary features and easy to use for health monitoring. Very easy to connect to an iPhone, plus excellent build quality as you would expect from apple.
