De Garmin Fēnix 8 AMOLED 43 mm Sapphire Titanium biedt een uitzonderlijk helder en scherp AMOLED-scherm, dat goed leesbaar is in fel zonlicht en bij outdoor-activiteiten. De batterijduur is indrukwekkend voor een AMOLED-horloge, hoewel deze korter is dan bij solar-modellen. Het saffierglas is zeer krasbestendig, wat het horloge geschikt maakt voor intensief gebruik. De uitgebreide sport- en gezondheidsfuncties, samen met de microfoon en speaker voor spraakopdrachten, maken het horloge veelzijdig. Nadelen zijn de hoge prijs, het ontbreken van zonne-opladen op het AMOLED-model, en de soms onhandige oplaadkabel. Kaarten zijn standaard alleen vooraf geïnstalleerd op de duurdere saffier-uitvoering. Over het algemeen is dit horloge ideaal voor sporters en outdoor-liefhebbers die het beste scherm en robuuste bouw zoeken, maar bereid zijn meer te betalen en enkele kleine nadelen te accepteren.

I upgraded from the Fenix 6 to this watch and couldn't have asked for a better purchase. The functionality of the watch far exceeded my expectations. Great purchase, would highly recommend

This watch is almost unusable. I paid about $1,100 for it and after three months I gave it away. My friend gave it back in two weeks. "Too hard to make it work. Too slow". Then I gave it to a tech person, who was so glad to get it. She gave it back the next time I saw her. It is just too hard to get to the function you want. The on line video's are useless because the functions they show do not match what I am seeing on this watch. I think the $3.00 per hour engineers at Garman should be replaced.
