De Garmin Fēnix 8 Solar 47 mm valt op door zijn uitzonderlijke batterijduur, vooral dankzij de efficiënte zonne-opladen. Het horloge is extreem robuust door het saffierglas en de titanium behuizing, waardoor het goed bestand is tegen krassen en stoten. De GPS is zeer nauwkeurig en de navigatie betrouwbaar, wat het ideaal maakt voor outdoor en sportactiviteiten. Daarnaast biedt het horloge een breed scala aan sport- en gezondheidsfuncties, waaronder een duikcomputer en geavanceerde trainingsanalyses. De ingebouwde speaker en microfoon maken bellen en spraakassistent mogelijk. Nadelen zijn de hoge prijs, het forse formaat en gewicht (vooral op smalle polsen), en een interface die soms als complex wordt ervaren. Het Solar-model heeft geen AMOLED-display, wat invloed heeft op de schermhelderheid. The Garmin Fenix is an absolute game changer to training for multisports. I use the watch to track all triathlon activities as well as my recovery such as ice baths and sauna activities. It has the ability to record temperature and make coaching recommendations when you are overtrained. A true game changer compared to a traditional smart watch

Very tough watch. The sapphire screen is literally indestructible. The two available apps makes it very easy to use and change faces. You could last for months in the mountains with a single charge. Definitely recommend to so someone who wants the best.

Great watch for training and health tracking. Personally, I prefer MIP over amoled - find it easier to read the display while running. Battery life is just unreal (compared ty my Apple watch).
