De Garmin Instinct 2X Solar Wit is vooral geschikt voor wie een extreem lange batterijduur en een robuust ontwerp zoekt. De batterij gaat weken mee, zeker met zonneladen, en het horloge kan tegen een stootje. De GPS is zeer nauwkeurig en de trainingssoftware is uitgebreid. De ingebouwde zaklamp is handig, maar verbruikt veel stroom. Het horloge is groot en zwaar, dus niet ideaal voor kleine polsen. Het scherm is minder scherp dan bij andere Garmins en er zijn minder smart features. Kortom: ideaal voor outdoor- en avontuurliefhebbers, minder geschikt voor wie een licht, stijlvol of slim horloge zoekt.

I am really happy with my purchase. The battery life is excellent. Never have to worry about charging. It gives me all the fitness measurements I need. Highly recommended!

Upgraded from my original instinct due to the solar feature. I didn’t check the online reviews first but the solar function doesnt recharge the battery like a traditional solar panel, it just prolongs the battery life depending on how much sun it’s exposed to. Improvements are that it’s lighter, the heart rate sensor is better and it’s not as bulky. Overall happy with the improved features but disappointed with the solar feature so wondered if I really needed to upgrade.
