De Samsung Galaxy Watch8 44mm Zilver is een smartwatch met een 44 mm behuizing, een 1,47 inch Super AMOLED scherm met 480x480 resolutie en een aluminium kast. Het horloge weegt ongeveer 34 gram en heeft een Li-Ion batterij van 435 mAh. De opslagcapaciteit bedraagt 32 GB, gecombineerd met 2 GB RAM. Het model ondersteunt eSIM voor verbinding via LTE, en is waterbestendig tot 5ATM en stofdicht volgens IP68. Diverse sensoren registreren activiteiten en lichaamswaarden.

I picked up this product in October last year and it would not last 8 hours. Also the pinch gesture to start the timer wasn't working. After trying different options I took it back to the store and it took 5 weeks to finally get a replacement (at first Samsung had sent a new face watch without the bracelet!). I encountered the same issue with the new watch without changing any setting (working fine for first couple of weeks but then turning off after 8 hours). This 2nd watch was sent again and due to invoicing not properly documented by Harvey Norman, it has taken over 2 weeks to finally be told that a repair would be done as Samsung see it as a "minor issue" and they only consider the 2nd watch when assessing the claim and considering options. I work 12-hour shifts as a nurse and the 2 most important aspects for me was battery life of over 12 hours and the pinch gesture. Terrible experience and extremely disappointing from Samsung and Harvey Norman to whom I had been loyal as long as

This watch is fantastic and packed with features! The only downside is the battery life — it barely lasts a full day, which is a bit disappointing. Everything else has been great though the performance is smooth and the features are impressive. The blood pressure monitor and heart rate sensor are particularly standout, delivering really accurate readings.
