De LG S40T soundbar biedt een sterke geluidsverbetering voor kleinere ruimtes dankzij de draadloze subwoofer en AI Sound Pro, die spraak duidelijker maakt. Installatie is eenvoudig via HDMI ARC en Bluetooth, en het compacte formaat past goed bij kleinere tv's. Wel ontbreekt echte surround en Dolby Atmos, en de subwoofer kan in grotere kamers te overheersend zijn. Ook is er geen display, wat de bediening minder intuïtief maakt. Voor wie vooral tv kijkt en heldere dialogen zoekt, is dit een goede keuze, maar voor een echte thuisbioscoopervaring zijn er beperkingen.

Bass subwoofer is good. Very nice system for the price. Setup is OK, could be easier than they show in the instructions. The lights on front should be on the side. Don't need them in my view. But after a bit you ignore them and not an issue. Just dumb design. For the sound, once you pick the simple settings you prefer, you are good to go. I used cinema for everything which works great for me. Bottom line, excellent sound system for the price, especially if you already have and LG.

Went for the basic and least expensive soundbar and it has lived up to expectations. Great sound for movies and music. The TV settings work well for other mainstream viewing.

I received this soundbar as part of a bundled package. Unfortunately, the sound is horrible. There is barely any bass and the talking on tv is muddled. I do not see much of a difference between this soundbar and the tv speakers. I also went through tech support just to confirm that it was set up properly. LG will not allow me to return or exchange.

Sound bar arrival was perfect and item boxed very well. Setting up was very easy and the system is so easy to use. I find the system far superior to the built in audio TV system.
