Manfrotto 114 Video Dolly

dont know why until now i didnt bought it . i was using expensive tripod with cheap dolly now i finally decided to spend and get good one and it really worth it! so stable so smooth amazing!

You really can't destroy these things. They are well-built and work very well for shooting situation that require moving the camera often. I had a large production at multiple facilities that require moving the camera from point to point over the course of the day. The first shoot I carried it around and by the end of the day, couldn't move my arms anymore. This was a lifesaver. It's expensive, but if you have a 20lb+camera rig, it is well worth the money. One note to keep in mind is that it is very wide and may not fit through doorways under 36". Also, be sure to purchase the correct model. This one is for spiked tripod legs but there is a similar model for non-spiked legs.

A heavier rig than average. In my opinion, Sandbags won't really help. I am a freelance photographer working the odd video assignment. I upgraded the wheels to smoother one's from Tente Wheels. The upgraded wheels have sealed bearings. Forget rolling the dolly on commercial grade carpeting. It won't roll and turn smoothly. It will roll smooth on a carpet-free banquet hall floor with minimal construction or expansion joints.

I purchased two of these for my studio (High school teacher). Make moving the cameras a lot easier. They glide across the floor. Please note that they have two different models. The 114 and the 114MV depending on which type of legs your tripod have...
