I had bought a tripod on Amazon. Although the product description said it would hold my 600 m Sigma lens, it did not. Nothing happened to the lens or camera as I tested it at home and was able to catch it as it was about to collapse. I went to this company for advice on my new mirrorless R7 and to purchase a better tripod. This product, Sirui, is excellent, and high quality, and I am glad I bought it -- no worries when the big lens is on the tripod. The tripod is also easy to manage. I love it. I know it will be a frequent visitor to Huntley Meadows

Have had this a couple of years now. It has been in rivers, on beaches, in snow, on ice, on salt flats, up and down mountains and even survived being run over in Death Valley, when after a sleepless night of Milky Way chasing I forgot it was behind my Jeep and reversed over it. Would recommend, it can take a beating.

I cant begin to say how pleased I am with this incredible tripod. With the help of the experts at B&H, I found a tripod that met my needs to a tee. I have a Nikon 200-500 mm lens that I mount on a heavy gimbal head. My tripod could not handle it. I needed a beefy tripod that I could plop down in the timber or even a stream, and this is it. It is perfect! I wasnt even aware of Sirui until the B&H expert clued me in. I bought a heavy Sirui ball head for using this tripod with other lenses. I am set!

I looked to the pros at B&H for a recommendation on this tripod, and they steered me directly to this Sirui. I needed a light tripod that would handle significant weight for my Gimbal Head and my 200-500 mm lens. I also wanted a tripod that I could sit in mud or a stream. This tripod fit my needs in every way. I was not a Sirui fan before now, but I am SOLD!
