This is supposed to filter the air, it might filter the dust, but it gives off such a heavy stuffy, musty plasticky smell that the whole house smells appalling. It doesn't help to have a fresh dust bag as the smell comes from the filter. Disappointed for the price!

Replacing the Hepa filter ( and the motor filter) has restored my Bosch vacuum cleaner to an as new condition. Definitely improves the quality of the air coming back into the room. Will try to replace more regularly in future. Heap filter supplied is a genuine Bosch spare part as far as I can tell.
