Osprey Farpoint 40 Man Rugzak Blauw || Maat: 40

I had high hopes for this bag, given its 40L sweet spot size, and that you could also attach the optional travel backpack (that REI doesn't carry). You must buy the 55L to get the daypack. It has great features, but those features take up a lot of the usable space. The padded laptop sleeve is very obtrusive to the main compartment---without a laptop in it! The harness when stowed, chews up valuable space in the main compartment as well. It's a great idea, but at the end of the day, those features take up a lot of the pack's space. I understand that the 55L ditches a lot of the features of the 40L, so there is more space, but that likely precludes it from being a carry on.

Excellent dual purpose backpack. Just recently used as a carry on. Shoulder/waist straps conveniently tuck away completely in zippered compartment with convenient top and side handles to carry on plane.

It's exactly as advertised and even better quality than expected!

Perfect size for hand luggage with quality construction and great design.

It needs a couple of more internal divisions to help keep some of the contents organised well
