In the mid-range of synths, this is great value and comes with a fully loaded set of really great sounds which of course, is expandable. One of the best things about this synth is that even if you just use the presets, you’re going to get a great sound. If you want to dig deeper and create your own patches, you’ve got the best of both the sample and FM worlds to use either separately to combined. I really like the feel of the keyboard, its semi-weighted which I prefer to fully weighted as I often need a slighter faster action for synth, but I still get a real piano feel when needed.

Versatile piece of kit. Sounds great and the feel is great too. Lots of extra sounds available to download. Touch screen is responsive and works brilliantly.

Having started my shop looking for basic 88 note USB controller keyboards then on to basic digital pianos, I decided to go for this level of instrument due to the weighted keyboard and extended sound library compared to basic digital pianos. It sounds great and has a certain degree of expandability with the USB connection to iPads etc which allow sequencing and additional sounds. The controls seem to come from 30s years ago when a lot of buttons and a small 2 line LCD display were king but it doesn't detract from it's usability
