De Hilleberg Nammatj 2 Trekkerstent Green staat bekend om zijn robuuste constructie en betrouwbaarheid in extreme weersomstandigheden. Dankzij het sterke Kerlon 1800 doek en de stevige 10mm stokken is de tent zeer stabiel, zelfs bij harde wind of sneeuw. Het interieur is ruim genoeg voor twee personen en hun uitrusting, en de vestibule biedt extra opslagruimte. De tent is snel op te zetten, waarbij het binnen- en buitentent gelijktijdig worden opgezet, wat vooral handig is bij regen of sneeuw. De ventilatie is goed geregeld met grote, afsluitbare openingen. Nadelen zijn het relatief hoge gewicht, waardoor hij minder geschikt is voor solo of ultralichte tochten, en het feit dat de tent niet vrijstaand is en altijd afgespannen moet worden. Ook is er slechts één ingang en vestibule, wat de toegang en opslag beperkt, en zijn er weinig interne opbergmogelijkheden. Over het algemeen is dit een uitstekende keuze voor wie maximale betrouwbaarheid zoekt in zware omstandigheden, maar minder geschikt voor wie lichtgewicht en flexibiliteit prioriteit geeft.

This is a mountaineering tent, not an ultralight. It is for environments where failure is not an option. It is built to take the beating it will get on windy, cold, and possibly unforgiving terrain. It is large enough to do what you need to do to survive while entirely protected from the elements. It is not a beginner's tent. The fly is adequate.

A great roomy, 2-person tent that stays warm and dry. It's lightweight enough that it could be taken on shorter backpacking trips yet it has plenty of space to kept your gear in. This tent has kept me very warm in 10 degree weather. It's also very easy to assemble.

This is a really well built tent, very sturdy, but really not lightweight as it's not intended to be for backpacking and much less for expedition. I use as a basecamp shelter once it's very really roomy and has two vestibules.
