De Vango Omega 250 is een ruime 2-persoonstent met een grote voortent, ideaal voor kampeerders die comfort en opbergruimte zoeken. De tent scoort hoog op waterdichtheid en stabiliteit, mede dankzij het TBS®II bandensysteem en de sterke aluminium stokken. Het gebruik van gerecycled materiaal maakt hem aantrekkelijk voor milieubewuste gebruikers. Nadelen zijn het relatief hoge gewicht en het feit dat de tent niet vrijstaand is, waardoor hij minder geschikt is voor lichtgewicht trekkers of plekken waar haringen lastig te plaatsen zijn. De tent is vooral populair bij kampeerders die betrouwbaarheid en ruimte belangrijker vinden dan een ultralicht gewicht.

This is my 2nd Vango Omega 250. My first one lasted over 15 years with lots of use in a mixture of good & bad weather. It never let me down. One pole finally sheared so I decided it was time for a new one. I love the design, I can keep my bicycle in the front porch along with the rest of my kit. Load's of room in the sleeping area, admittedly I use this tent for just myself, but have had a partner share with me & that was not a squeeze. Quick to put up alone and I'm delighted that the design has hardly changed. A great price, in fact it's cheaper then when I made my purchase 15ish yrs ago!! Happy camper

I've been away twice in this tent for a couple of nights on my own walking up in the lakes. Loads of room for me (6'2") and there was enough room for another. It's a good little tent. A little bit fiddly hooking the inner tent up inside, but once up it was fine. the porch is roomy and the detachable groundsheet is a good idea so you can replace it if you damage it. I could sit inside on a small tripod stool. It chucked it down one night and it was completely watertight. Packs away nicely and is nice and light. Very happy and well worth the money !

I was after a tent that was small enough and light enough when packed to fit on the rear of a 50 year old Lambretta along with my other kit and yet big enough to sleep in and store all my riding gear. This fitted the bill perfectly.
