Deze combinatie van topcover en toetsenbord is bedoeld als vervangend onderdeel voor HP Elitebook 840 G7 en 840 G8 laptops met een 14 inch behuizing. Het onderdeel omvat de bovenplaat rond het toetsenbord en een toetsenbord met achtergrondverlichting. De afmetingen volgen het originele formaat van de laptopserie, zodat de polssteun en toetsindeling overeenkomen met het bestaande ontwerp. Extra componenten zoals touchpad of sensoren maken geen deel uit van dit losse vervangingsonderdeel.

Was excited to set up this laptop but when setting up the windows i was stopped by the hardware being registered to a company that i have no affiliation with asking for a login that i am unable to provide. Cant get any further with the process rendering the laptop useless.

It’s a nice and good working computer. I wanted a smaller one (to save $) but didn’t realize how much I would miss the 10 key. My almost new computer I bought a year ago died so I settled for this one. Over-all a ok buy.

It started with one dot - just one dot and eventually screen was showing some lines from within. Like as if there is some liquid inside screen and that causes shadow. I bought this computer for my consulting work and company had downloaded couple of software so I could not return. Wifi and speed fine. Suddenly after 10 months - voice driver disappeared when HP sent updates. But HP support fixed it afterwards.

from the beginning this laptop had issues staying connected to the internet , both ethernet and wifi. long story short it was a headache getting hp to help us, we returned the laptop twice for replacement parts, wiped it multiple times, messed with the bios and nothing. It is an expensive brick. if you are thinking of getting an HP laptop I would suggest getting it directly from hp to avoid having a vendor and amazon as a middle man. we did not get a refund by the way.

The laptop came with windows 11 but the seller didn't include the Software Product Key for me to activate the software. It took me over two hours trying to contact the manufacture HP, you guys and the seller to obtain the Product Key but it was not successful. The manufacture told me to talk to you guys Amazon. When I contacted you guys, you guys told me to contact the seller. I called the seller 5 times today and left 3 messages for them to call me back but up till now 6:00 PM, NO ONE has responded yet. When I contacted the manufacture HP today and they told me that it might be a refurbished Laptop that why they didn't activate Windows 11. I might have to return it for a refund if I don't get this Windows 11 Software Product Key to activate it. It was a total waste of time dealing with this Product Key issue. I might have to returned it.
