De Logitech G915 X Lightspeed is een premium draadloos gaming toetsenbord met uitstekende bouwkwaliteit, duurzame PBT-toetsen en een stevig aluminium frame. De draadloze prestaties zijn top, met extreem lage latency en een lange batterijduur tot ruim 36 uur bij volle helderheid. RGB-verlichting is individueel instelbaar en de toetsen zijn goed leesbaar, zelfs in het donker. Voor gamers en productieve gebruikers zijn er veel programmeerbare toetsen en uitgebreide softwaremogelijkheden. Nadelen zijn de slechts gemiddelde typkwaliteit door lichte toetswobble, het ontbreken van multi-device pairing, en het hoge prijsniveau. Ook kunnen de laagprofiel toetsen even wennen zijn en soms tot onbedoelde aanslagen leiden. Over het algemeen is dit toetsenbord vooral geschikt voor wie topprestaties en bouwkwaliteit zoekt, maar bereid is daarvoor extra te betalen.

Na nog geen jaar gebruik hebben de E en de R toetsen dubbele aanslag als in chattering. Ik zie op internet veel mensen met dit probleem. Software is in mijn optiek ook matig hoewel de configureerbaarheid wel ok is.

Gekocht als draadloze vervangen voor mijn Razer Huntsman Elite V1, de G915X lightspeed is een genot om mee te typen. Ondanks de gigantische overgang van full-height clicky keys naar low-profile tactile is de overgaan snel gegaan, en voor gamen wil je niet meer terug. Het enige nadeel wat ik wel wil benoemen, vooral voor de RGB liefhebbers, is dat het licht door de keycaps niet echt mooi is. Het licht lijkt niet helemaal egaal diffused te zijn waardoor het wat donker en goedkoop overkomt. Dit is al helemaal zo met lagere helderheid. Ik heb vernomen dat dit bij veel Logitech toetsenborden is, en mag wel echt beter de volgende keer. Over het algemeen is de G915X dus echt wel een prettig toetsenbord en zijn geld waard, ook met de kleine nadelen die het heeft.

The keyboard is really very good, nothing to complain about except its sensitivity, as soon as you barely touch a key it is registered. That makes things a bit complicated in gaming or simply when touch typing. Otherwise the programming of the keys into macros or its color management is really good, nothing to complain about, Note that all my peripherals are logitech: Keyboard, mouse and headset, that's good because I think it's good, huh :D

The keyboard is well made, with customizable keys if you use the software provided by the manufacturer, but here’s the thing: I’m on my third keyboard after already two returns, and I will certainly request a return for this one as well, because the keyboard’s Red switches very quickly start producing multiple keystrokes. The bouncing on this keyboard is really horrible, and even the small accessibility adjustments in the OS to work around this issue aren’t enough to get back to normal typing. In games, it bothers me fairly little (although, when tab opens then instantly closes a menu, it’s a bit annoying), but when I’m typing a document and I constantly have to correct double “u”s, or when tab makes me skip several columns at once in Excel, it becomes pretty nightmarish to work. And of course, the switches are soldered, so not replaceable. At this price, it really hurts.
